Recruiting an ACCOUNTANT, based in Bogor, Indonesia.
The Position
The accountant facilitates the organization financial transactions in proper manner in accordance to the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the organization requirements (CGIAR, ICRAF, and Donor) in order to provide timely and accurate financial information
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks:
To handle cash disbursement transactions for procurement on goods and services; cash advance payments & liquidations (e.g. travel advances & advance for staff medical expenses), various project activities, field expenses and staff overtime in SUN System :
ensure the transactions are carried out in accordance to the Center’s financial and administrative policies and procedures
ensure appropriate supporting documents for transactions including receipts,
record financial transactions following proper classification of accounts and grant budget lines
To verify monthly field financial reports from field sites in Indonesia and to record those transactions in the SUN System
To generate monthly cash count reports
To review Travel Expenses Reports and analyze accruals accounts
To manage cash flow to manage an efficient level of cash for daily operation
To maintain financial records/files and to facilitate project annual audit and internal audit (ad hoc), e.g. to provide data and information, to respond to auditor’s questions
To assist grant reporting (spool data, prepare report)
Qualifications and Skills Required:
This position requires at least the following qualifications and capacities:
· S-1 or D3 Accounting
· Preferably has at least 2 years experience in related field
· Proficiency in written and spoken English
· Self motivated, willing to work independently, flexible and able to work in a team
· Good analytical skills
· Having a good interpersonal skill
· Familiar with SUN SYSTEM and good computer & internet skills (MS Office)
Terms of offer
· This is a Nationally Professional Fixed Term position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
· The contract is for a period of 2 (two) years, with possibility of renewal, subject to assessment of performance, and availability of resources.
